Browser Compatibility
Station:This part of the
Changelog includes updates about the weather station hardware and PC software &
hardware that is used to interface with the station.
Some minor updates to software will be "rolled up" into periodic announcements
rather than every time they occur (which would be rather laborious).
February 2014:
- Web cam taken offline due to renovations. A new web cam will be
purchased and installed when appropriate.
March 2013:
- Wind vane equipment suffered a failure in late January resulting
in essentially no wind data until March 26; this was eventually
repaired but there was no recoverable data from the time frame the
equipment was offline or functioning improperly.
October 2009:
- Relocated PC and inside station hardware to more suitable
location.
- Updated Cumulus to 1.8.8 beta
May 2009:
- Purchased a new battery backup (UPS) for the Weather Station PC.
February 2009:
- Updated Vantage Pro 2 firmware to 1.8.2.
- Updated Weatherlink to 5.8.3.
- Updated Cumulus gradually to 1.8.6 beta.
November 2008:
- Installed and tested Cumulus 1.8.4 beta, a weather software
program compatible with the Vantage Pro 2. This program is
frequently updated by its author and
thus I will also try to update from time to time to keep it
relatively current.
- Updated Weatherlink to version 5.8.2.
